Accessing the Login Page

1. Open your web browser and navigate to your VariantMiner instance URL

2. You'll be redirected to the login page if you're not already authenticated

Note: The exact URL will be provided by your system administrator. For DNAnexus-hosted instances, it typically follows the format: https://variantminer-[organization].dnanexus.cloud

Login Process

Using Email and Password

1. Enter your credentials:

   • Email: Use the email address associated with your account

   • Password: Enter your secure password

2. Click "Sign In" to access the platform

Account Activation

If this is your first login after receiving an invitation:

1. Check your email for an invitation link

Troubleshooting Login Issues

Forgot Password

1. Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page

Account Locked

After Successful Login

Once you've successfully logged in, you'll be redirected to:

• Your default workspace (if configured)

• A welcome page (for first-time users)

From there, you can:

• Explore the dashboard

• Access your workspaces

• Start uploading files

Logout Process

To securely log out:

1. Click your profile name in the top-right corner

2. Select "Logout" from the dropdown menu

3. You'll be redirected to the login page

4. Close your browser for additional security
